hooray!!!

8 years today! you said it several times today, out and loud, :)  8 years ago, that tiny baby on my breast; our first cuddle. It wasn't an easy year for you, your new surrounding asked for a quick growth and that was tough! You had to leave your beloved friends in Holland, what was clear today from the amount of sweet notes and messages, a big thanks to all of you! Despite that, when I look at you I can only be proud; you did grow up, more self-confident than ever, eager to share what you know and brave enough to let the world hear what you think. ♥ you!

garden ♥

Always nice to take a little stroll through the garden, not that the garden is that big, but there are is allways beauty to discover. Like an unexpected cactus that is growing and growing, tiny purple flowers, a tree full of lemons and gypsophelia, the only flower left from this seedlings.

upcoming party

The tension is noticeable; exactly one week from today and my big girl will celebrate her 8th birthday. She knows for weeks what to do on her party, made some lists and contacted grandma for a list of old-fashioned games. The only thing I need to do is assist her and make her a birthday cake. Today we made the invitation; a golden surprise box.
